These folding umbrellas are handcrafted by Japanese craftsmen, one by one.
It is made from "Koshuori" fabric woven in Yamanashi Prefecture, which has a history of more than 400 years as a famous weaving region. Koshuori is made by weaving dyed fine yarns evenly and densely together to achieve a deep, lustrous color and an elegant, dignified texture, and it still boasts high quality.
The special weaving method of twin yarns (twisted yarns) for the warp and single yarns (a single thread) for the weft is a unique feature of Yamanashi weaving, and this is a very precious fabric that can be woven only about 4m a day.
By processing this fabric into umbrella material, it not only looks luxurious, but also has high water resistance and durability.
In addition, the fabric is woven on a small width loom, which is very rare nowadays, so there is no perforation on the edge (rim) of the fabric, which means it will not fray even if you use it for a long time.
The bones of the umbrella are made of glass fiber. The length of the parent bone is 55cm, and it has 8 bones.
It is a functional folding umbrella that is easy to fold and can be put together like a long umbrella without breaking the bones. The small bent handle can be hung on the edge of the bag and is easy to grip. This umbrella has a UV-cut finish and can be used as a parasol for both rain and shine.
